Raylene Richards Mastur

Vulgar Display of Power

Easter is a fact.
That is the fact that there is, among other things since before I was born (apparently) so I would not put me to hear her appeal on its usefulness and / or veracity. A little 'respect for the elderly. But it occurred to me a particularly chilling in my life that I had totally removed until a few hours ago.
As a child I attended catechism classes, I know nobody is perfect and I was ten more years, however this is not the point. I remember there was this girl, the catechist, who occasionally remembered to play their role and we gathered all of us kids in this moldy room and tried to impart knowledge. This time there was almost Easter and perhaps bored by our (my) raids and neglect instead of vain talk and showed us keep swearing 'ste slides on the meaning of Easter. Some crazy with the hobby of DIY had started making these clay figurines of the Virgin Mary, Christ and company, plus all the setting carefully designed entrance to Jerusalem with palm trees, donkeys, and then the Garden of Olives so on. Well for a little girl of ten years yet aware of anything I guess it could be nice to see the figurines personify the allegories of the Passover. Then I liked the sound of the projector when changing the slide (which obsolete).
We all now know how it ends that story. That is why we are celebrating Easter. I remind you that I was ten and I was unaware of all unaware that this guy had done here crucify. That he had been tortured before crucifixion. What is that after they died immediately crucified once. That is not who died after the story ended there, it happens that the sky darkens and the Temple of Jerusalem is destroyed and everyone suffers. All under the eyes of her mother.

Imagine this little girl in the country, ten years into the moldy room with other children in the country, supervised by an adult who shows him lashing other puppets of clay figurines of clay which, after the whipping they bring these crosses wood on a hill and then we hang them on. Puppets of bloody clay. Inchiodati.Pupazzeti that inexplicably resurrected. Puppets zombie.Ma especially no chocolate egg.
