Resetting Brookstone Travel Locks

during the day against violence against women ...

Although a little 'late ... now post this video produced by the UN agency for human development which said the important experience of a help center for women who have suffered violence in Sri Lanka. In 2008, women who suffer violence in the world are millions and in many countries (even in some regions of Italy) have no kind of help. Violence psychological, physical or economic plight is still unresolved which brings millions of women to be victims whose abusers (usually husbands) go unpunished (about 70% of violence against women occurs in the home, with family).

Florida Gator Cake Ideas

's speech from Chicago .... WE WIN!!

Here is the text of Obama's speech e. .. video from Chicago :-)

Good evening Chicago! If there are still people out there who doubts that America is the place where everything is possible, still wonders if the dream of our father is still alive today, who still questions the power of our democracy, here tonight the answer. It 's the answer they gave the file in front of schools and churches, never so long in the history of this country, done by people who waited three hours, four hours, many for the first time in their lives because they believed that this time could be different, and that their voice could be the difference. It 's the answer given by young and old, rich and poor, Democrats and Republicans, blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians, Native American, gay, straight, disabled or not disabled. Americans, who sent a message to the world that we have never been just a collection of individuals or a collection of red states and blue states.
We are, and always will be, the United States of America.
's the answer to all those who drove for a long time and many have been told: be skeptical, you doubt and fear about what will happen! ... And guided them to get their hands on the path of history once again to direct it toward the hope of a better day.
It took a long time, but tonight, thanks to what we have done on this day in this election, at this moment, today is the change in America.
Earlier in the evening, I received a call from Senator Mc extraordinary courtesy. Cain.
Sen. McCain has fought long and hard in this campaign. And he fought even more long and hard for the country he loves. He argued for the sacrifices America that many of us can not even imagine. We are grateful for his service to America by this bold and courageous leader.
I congratulate him. I congratulate Governor Palin for what they are able to achieve. And I'm looking forward to working with them to renew the promise of this country in the months to come.
I want to thank my fellow traveler, a man who has made an election campaign in heart, who spoke on behalf of the men and women with whom he grew up on the streets of Scranton and with whom he returned to train at home in Delaware: Vice President-elect of the United States, Joe Biden.
It would not be here tonight if it were not for the constant support of my best friend of 16 years, a pillar of our family, love of my life, First Lady Michelle Obama.
Sasha and Malia I love you more than you can imagine, you have earned the new puppy that will be with us in the White House.
And even if it is no longer with us, I know that my grandmother is watching us, as we see family thanks to which I am what I am. I miss them tonight, and I know that the debt to them is immeasurable!
To my sister Maya, my sister Alma, to all my brothers and my sisters, thanks for the support you have given me. I am grateful.
the staff responsible for my election, David Plouffe, silent hero of this campaign, which produced the best, the best political campaign, I think, the history of the United States of America!
To my chief strategist, David Axelrod who was my partner in every step of the way location.
the best team ever put together in the history of electoral politics: this is due to you, and I will be forever grateful for what you have sacrificed to achieve it.
But above all, never forget those who really owns this victory. It belongs to you! It belongs to you!
I've never been a favorite candidate for this office. We never had much money or not much consensus. Our campaign was not hatched in the rooms of Washington. It began in the backyards of Des Moines, stays in Concord, under the arcades of Charleston. E 'was made by men and women who gave what little they had to give: 5 or 10 or 20 dollars for the cause.
has drawn its strength from those young people who have rejected the myth of an apathetic generation, and have left their homes and their families for jobs that offered little money and less sleep. He got his energy from those old people who braved the bitter cold and searing heat to knock on doors of strangers, and the millions of Americans who have served their voluntary work and worked and tried that, more than two centuries later The government of the people, by the people and for people has not been swallowed by the earth.
This is your victory!
And I know you did everything you did to win an election. And I know you've done for me.
You did it because you understand the enormity of the task that lies ahead. Because even if we are celebrating tonight, we know the challenges that await us tomorrow will be the most important of our lives: two wars, a planet in peril, the worst financial crisis of the century.
Although we are here tonight, we know that there are brave Americans who are waking up in the deserts of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan to risk their lives for us.
That there are mothers and fathers who will stay awake after their children are asleep and you will wonder how they will do with the mortgage or pay the bill for medical or save enough for college for their children.
There are new energies to be harnessed, to create new jobs, new schools be built, to face threats, alliances to rebuild.
The road ahead is long. The climb is steep. We could not get there in a year or even a mandate. But America, I never drive so much I hope that tonight we'll get there! I promise you we will get there!
There will be setbacks and false starts. Many will not agree with everything that will decide my politics or by the President. And we know that the government can not solve every problem.
But I'll always be honest with you about the challenges we face. I will listen, especially when you do not agree. And, above all else, I will ask you to participate in the reconstruction of this nation, the only way in which America was done for 221 years - - building by building, brick by brick, calloused hand by calloused hand.
What began 21 months ago in the heart of winter can not end this night of autumn.
This victory alone is not the change we want. It 's just the opportunity to make that change. And this can not happen if we go back to the way things were.
can not happen without you, without a new spirit of service, a new spirit of sacrifice.
So we appeal to a new spirit of patriotism and responsibility, so that each of us rolled up our sleeves and work hard and take care not only of themselves itself but also of others.
remember that if the financial crisis has taught us anything is that we can not have a rich Wall Street and "Main Street" (ndt in the sense of the people, the common people) in suffering.
In this country, we are born and die as a nation, a people. Do not yield to the temptation to fall into the bias in closed-mindedness and nell'immaturità that has poisoned our politics for so long.
remember a man who was a native of this state who first carried the banner of the Republican Party in the White House, a party founded on the values of self-esteem, individual liberty and national unity. Those values
are values we all share. And while the Democratic Party wins a major election tonight, we'll do it with a dose of humility and determination to heal the divisions that have hampered our progress.
As Lincoln said in front of a nation torn apart even more than ours, we are not enemies but friends. Even if our passions are inflamed us, must not break our bonds of affection.
And for those Americans whose support I have not yet won: I can not win your vote, but I hear your voices, I need your help. And I will be your President.
And for all those that tonight we look beyond our shores, with palaces and parliaments, for those gathered around the radio in the forgotten corners of the world, our stories are different, but our destiny is shared and a new dawn for American leadership is at hand.

Finally today in America will return to talk about redistribution of income, health care for the disadvantaged, the environment ... Topics

Can You Use Cat Litter For Rabbit Litter

Obamaaaaaa for President!

If you want to understand better who is the man who is making the dream of America and the world ... this is a small two-part documentary broadcast by LA7

Christmas Candlelight Ceremony Program

The day of truth ...

missing a few hours the final decision. A few hours separate us from the news of what will be the next U.S. President: Obama or McCain?
We really hope Obama! The world and not only does America need a real leader who rekindled the hope of a future and a better present. A man in a position to implement new ideas. A man who believes in the possibility of changing things that do not work starting from the contribution that each of us can put forward.
During this election day ... a short list of what are the differences between the two candidates on the issues that have characterized the election campaign:

themes of the campaign

IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN
McCain
He supported the war and sending more troops. Do not want to set a date for withdrawal. In Afghanistan, wants to send reinforcements and the creation of an 'outbreak' on Iraqi model.

Obama opposed the war in Iraq. Promises a full withdrawal within 16 months after his election. In Afghanistan supports the sending of reinforcements. Pressures on Pakistan where Al Qaeda infiltrates.

FIGHT TERRORISM

McCain has proposed a new military-civilian agency with the dispatch of experts in the world's trouble spots. He wants to close the prison at Guantanamo and criticized the inhuman methods of interrogation.

Obama wants to concentrate funding for security in areas most at risk. Opposed the Patriot Act wants to close Guantanamo and the right process for suspected terrorists.

FOREIGN POLICY

McCain On Iran wants more sanctions and does not exclude a military solution. Critical attitude toward Putin's Russia. On the Middle East crisis, says the two-state solution, pressure on Saudi Arabia because they aid the Palestinians, cutting the flow of arms and money to Hezbollah, support for Lebanese moderates.

Obama does not rule out direct negotiations with the Iranian leader Ahmadinejad. Harsh criticism of Russia. Middle East: support for "two states", isolation of Hamas in the Territories until they recognize Israel's right to exist, diplomacy towards the Arab countries because they normalized relations with Israel and support the Palestinian National Authority.

ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL CRISIS

McCain promises tax cuts to middle class. Would keep the Bush tax cuts but by reducing public expenditure. Promised welfare reform and health care. He supported the bailout for Wall Street 700 billion dollars. It promises to cover the Federal bank accounts up to $ 250,000

Obama promises tax cuts targeted to help the middle class. Abolish the Bush tax cuts for high income groups. Wants to reform healthcare and renegotiate international trade agreements. He claimed the support plan for Wall Street and proposed financial sector reforms, with more government controls on financial institutions and banks.

ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT

McCain recognizes that climate change is real and devastating. Promises the U.S. commitment in programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions if China and India adhere. Refuses to support or alternative tariff plans that penalize U.S. competitiveness. It supports the resumption of ocean drilling, except in the natural reserve of the Arctic.

Obama wants to cut U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2050 and lead the U.S. in the fight against climate change. Promises for 150 investments billion dollars over 10 years in alternative energy. Do not rule out the resumption of drilling, while his deputy Biden is totally opposed.

ABORTION

McCain wants to revise the 1973 Constitutional Court ruling that legalized abortion, although in the past had supported. Promises state aid for adoptions. His deputy is radically contrary to Palin's right to abortion, including cases of rape or incest.

Obama supports the right choice for women, made "with doctors, family and spiritual advisers." He criticized the recent Supreme Court decisions which reduced the time limit where you can practice on abortion.
